In cases where applicants receive rental housing subsidies, the subsidy will limit the income requirement to the non-subsidized remainder of rent. The landlord is prohibited from requiring disclosure, asking about, rejecting an applicant, or taking an adverse action based on any arrest record, conviction record, or criminal history, except for registry information as described in subsections 14.09.025.A.3, 14.09.025.A.4, and 14.09.025.A.5, and subject to the exclusions and legal requirements in Section 14.09.115 Each applicant must have a minimum credit score of 680, and favorable credit history free of negative credit issues which may indicate that the applicant has a pattern of failure to make timely payment of financial obligations. All accounts must be current. Any credit records shown on a credit report as delinquent, charged off or unpaid are grounds for denial of tenancy. All credit ratings must be favorable with no adverse negative credit history, including late payments, collections or judgments, or rental evictions.
